Deena Machina Qabazard was born in San Francisco, California to an American mother and Kuwaiti father. She conveys her ideas utilizing drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital in combination with unconventional materials. She currently lives between Kuwait and the U.S. working as an independent and collaborative artist.
“My motive is blurring the lines between what is unsightly, unsettling, in conjunction with what is transcendent and beautiful. My work is an ongoing experimental play, and a cross-cultural examination.”
